Went in to Main Street Auto today to have my Monroe life time warranty shocks replaced, which have less than 30K miles on them, only to be told it would cost me $70.00 labor to do the job!

I know that I paid more than I should have originally for the shocks, in support of the small town, family run business that I hoped would provide old school, after sale support.

Went there twice over the weekend for a noise I had been hearing in my back tire. Both times I was told that there wasn't anything major and I would be safe to drive for a while. Drove to work yesterday and my back tire started smoking really bad. So I got it towed to a real mechanic.
