Poor Customer Service

I went in to get a part and the guy at the counter was playing around with the computer(looked as though he was playing a game) wasn't sure so I waited until he acknowledged and asked of their warranty on a bought part. Told me it was 30 days on a defect. Said ok can I get that In writing and he told me NO, that it was store policy. Said well if its the policy then you should have no problem putting it in writing. I debated why he should explaining that I had been ripped of before and that when it came down to it the individuals manager whom ripped me off said did I get it in writing, told him no and said there was nothing he could do. So I now get things in writing pertaining to warranty issues. The guy at jim city told me he always works the desk so it would be him I would deal with, and I told him yeah unless he got sick or hospitalized which then I'm in the same boat as before. He went back and forth changing his mind after he finally told me he would write it on the receipt and then changed his mind again. I finally told him thanks but no thanks being that he has gone back on his word several times in a matter of only minutes and there for why should I believe that you would honor anything else when your word apparently means little. There are plenty of places that will give you their word in writing. Lots of businesses are vague intentionally. I own my own business and if it is something that we say we honor You"ll se it in writing if I have to write it down myself.
