Bad After Sale Service
I had my heating and airconditioning replace by Jerry's in 2010 with Goodman and with the Good Care 10 years parts and labor warranty. With the warranty I was not expecting any problem. My nightmare started summer of 2012, almost two years after it was installed. The airconditioning pipes are frozen. I called the office and Sam came, he said the Freon leaks out and he need to order and replace the valve, a manufacturers defect. It took about 3 weeks before it was fix and he said I should not have any problem again. I had the same problem summer of 2014. Matt family is on vacation and told me the Sam will check it, but Sam was also away. I did'nt have my aircon for 5 week at the peak of summer then Sam came, partially filled the Freon to get us through the summer and said he'll come back later to fix it. Nobody came and I saw Matt at the church and he said they will fix it when the weather gets cooler. The weather got cooler and until last night 8/7/14 my airconditioner is blowing warm air. I called this morning and spoke to Mickey and she said she's sending somebody to check. I said that my wife and daughter will be home. They came and missed my wife by 5 minutes as she went to the post office. I received a message on my answering machine from Mickey that nobody answered the door that she cannot send anybody now. I returned the call to find out when can they come again. I spoke to Matt and he said everybody is by the shore area now and cannot come and check my problem. He said they cannot fill my freon all the time. I do not need my freon filled all the time, I just need my aircon fix right and not having any problem in the summer. He also said they know I have a problem with my coil a manufacturer's defect, will order the parts and will replace it Monday. He also told me that I did not call them again last fall. If they know I have a problem with my coil last year, why do I have to call them? Why is it that they did not order the parts and come and fix my airconditioning unit last year since they know I have a problem with coil? I just hope that they know what they are doing, fix it right and I don't have to bother them again for the next 6 years. I am also looking to replace my airconditioning and heating unit after the warranty related to their claim of manufacturere defect. They really make it sounds like "DO NOT BUY GOODMAN" always will have manufacturers defect.
Just beware of the sales pitch, because they do not have enough manpower to fullfill their warranty.
