Jerry's Famous Deli

Jerry's Expensive Deli

Review Rating
Jerry's has a monumental menu and selection of every kind of deli food imaginable. I don't know if they can actually make all of it, but what I have has been generally been really good. The best deals are the desserts and the smoked fish platters, but generally prices are high. This location is across from Cedars-Sinai so if you have to visit friends in the hospital, plan on spending some time here. There is parking in the back but there are some metered spots on Beverly, too.

Centrally located and open late-night, this vital link in the Jerry’s Deli chain is a local favorite for matzo ball soup and celebrity sightings. Seating is easy in the large dining area where it’s not uncommon to find Tom Cruise or Lindsay Lohan chowing down in the next booth. The extensive menu may seem overwhelming, so stick with deli basics like sandwiches and their famous matzo ball soup.... more

Craving pastrami at 3am? Head to Jerry's. They even have a pizza menu, which makes their deli status dubious. Still, their hefty (and heftily priced) sandwiches keep folks coming back. The long, long menu will precipitate a panic attack in the indecisive. Read the L.A. Weekly review of Jerry's. (Photo: Michael Flocker)

The sandwich platters is off the chain. I love this place anytime you go the food is good. I have gone early for breakfast mid day for lunch and late evening for dinner. I just love it around the clock.

Greek salad was poor at best. Just mixed greens, no romaine, no lemon, cheap oil and vinegar, white onion (not red onioin), no bell pepper, no pepperocini, no cucumber, no chopped parsley, and bad feta. Other than that, it was a good greek salad.

Pastrami sandwich was salty and light on the meat.

I had not been to Jerry's in several years. I was at the hospital and my wife wanted a... more
