My boyfriend I stopped in one night and what an experience. The service was great, nice a friendly. The food was delicious with a southern hospitality!

I just went for a fri night dinner. It was incredible. the interior is super modern like a jazz lounge, but with some tables chairs for eating. the staff was super friendly and cool. The food. oh man, the food was the best soul food I've had in sacramento. and trust me I've been to many. I ordered the Southern Chicken plate. it was priced just right.. but the portion was huge! definitely expect to take some back home. It was amazing fried chicken. It was juicy and tender.. and they used spices in the breading... spices...yep..this aint your average.. Also, the candied yams...

If you're looking for the best BBQ around this is the spot. It has it all. Chicken, brisket, links and dynamite ribs. You won't need any napkins at this joint. The portions are generous. A good family environment. Open for lunch, dinner and take out. Check it out and I guarantee you you won't be disappointed.\r
