On 12/01/2006 I went to Jackson Hospital for tests. The so called nurse told me she was going to give me sugar water in my IV. I told her I could not have sugar, that I have low sugar. She told me that I could. I told her that I have lived with this for about 20 years and I know what sugar does to me. I told her it could put me in a coma. My youngest daughter had surgery there last year and the staff was very efficient. The only thing about this hospital is finding your way around. It is large and can be confusing, so make sure to ask and pay attention when they are explaining it to you. For the most part the staff that we have encountered have been friendly and professional.
