This place has an identity crisis. It can’t figure out if it wants to be an old fashion oyster bar, Italian or Greek restaurant. We waited for approximately an hour to find ourself in a pretty cool little place. The food on the other hand...

We ordered two different meals and both were very pleased. Lee said catfish was the best around Panama City Beach. I always love my pork chops. Service was great and their crew always has a smile for their guests. We live local so are here...

I gave it a chance despite the wait

So we waited over an hour. No big deal, it’s summertime in PCB. I will wait forever for good service and delicious food. Then they said our party of 8 would have to spilt if we wanted to eat after being outside for 65 minutes....

This place has the best steak ever! Atmosphere was great! Staff was friendly. We had 17 in our group and our waiting wasn't very long! Def a must try!!

Waited over and hour - rude management

There is no doubt the management takes their business for granted. When lines are long, they act like it’s a privilege to even be on their waitlist.
Regardless of the food quality, they ruined it for me before I ever sat at the table.

J. Michael's restaurant has been offering homemade meals for over 35 years. Our seafood is selected locally from the Gulf of Mexico. Our restaurant is located on Thomas Drive in Panama City Beach Florida. We are famous for our shrimp, sauteed oysters, seafood gumbo and red beans and rice.
