We opened in 1998 and we have steadily improved over the years. In 2001 Murat Firidin, who had worked in the kitchen as a chef since it opened, bought the place and made the restaurant more authentic and prettier. He wants to put the restaurant on a wider level to compete with similar restaurants in the greater New Haven area. Therefore in 2004, he sponsored and hired Nuh Demirel as a business...

Turkish cuisine - to the untrained palate, it's a cross between Greek and Middle Eastern. The appetizers come recommended.

Ayran, a cold salted yogurt drink. This yogurt drink was actually perfect, basically a thin yogurt that was a little sour and savory, kind of like drinking...

Authentic delicious Turkish food. Quite a find. We did the appetizer with 4 spreads and the 4 kebab dish. We loved the food. It's better than a lot of the upscale Turkish restaurants in NYC....

We like to order a variety of appetizers and usually one main dish to share, and it's plenty, especially in combination with the wonderful, warm bread that they serve. Some...
