Jim Ned is a great school district just on the outskirts of Abilene.It is a very safe school system that does not allow dangerous or disruptive students to remain in the normal school setting. My sons attended Jim Ned when young, but a family member needing help led to having to move. Especially after my children had to attend Abernathy schools for 3 years, I am grateful they are back to Jim Ned. My son was fortunate to get to attend Jim Ned High School. Our family had been part of another school district for 39 years, but our son was very unhappy there. He came as a freshman in high school and within a week, he felt like he belonged. He graduated a few years ago, but still has lots of friends and great memories of Jim Ned High as all of our family does now.
