Dr. Baum is very knowledgeable but he is equally extremely rude & plain nasty .... I overheard him scolding his medical assistant for spending to much time with me on explaining and going over some instructions on caring for my foot !! Horrible experience would never go back or recommend him !!!!!

Love his style, old school with a twist. He's honest, direct and doesn't just wNt to put you into surgery. Offers alternatives and works with patient to improve. Very nice staff also.

It is always my intent to give patient's information that will help them make an informed decision to their treatment. Up to date information including x-rays are necessary to discuss the current condition of the foot. Having surgery is stressful and 2nd opinions are appropriate if a patient has concerns about the treatment. I encourage them.

The worst experience ever! This doctor makes you feel like you are just an obstacle in his way to charge your insurance! I went to see him for a second opinion. When he heard "second opinion" he almost started to scream at me asking "what are you want me to do?", as if I was trying to do something illegal. I brought him the MRI from the previous doctor, which he rejected as "old", ordered some...

Be careful what you say, know your questions in advance and write them on a list. Dr. Baum is mean tempered and aggressive.
