I just visited the store last week, and was very impressed by the store and its staff. The store has wide selection of clothes and shoes. Very Trendy..loved it. I wanted to buy it all:-). I grew up in NY but now live in San Francisco. I ended up at Institut in October of 2005 and found some really beautiful, one-of-a-kind items. Of course, it is Spring Street, and
most of the clothes were in th 300-800/per item range.
I had to pair down to what I could afford after being helped by Carlton, a wonderful
person there with great taste, but I will go again and everything I got...

In the heart of SoHo, I found this boutique. I picked out a few pairs of skirts, tops, and shoes. Great variety to chose from! As I tried on a top, I pointed out to the saleslady that the collar was unusually large. She just told me it was "in and hip" and shrugged away.
