It reflects the artistic bent of both the area and the guests here. Opera singers, dancers and other luminaries make this inn their second home when visiting San Francisco. It is within minutes of Union Square, the Opera House,... more

Luxuriously low-key rooms are on the smallish side, but well-equipped with wet bars, mini-refrigerators and microwaves. Rates include a continental breakfast. Ovation at the Opera, which provides room service,... more

My wife was looking for something different, and found the Inn at the Opera. We stayed there the night we flew in, and before we drove out of town the next day. Staff is helpful and friendly, and the atmosphere is nice. The rooms are small, with decent furnishings, but I felt we were tripping over each other. This is not where you want to stay for more than a weekend or an overnighter.

We reported this & they brought 2 PORTABLE HEATERS to the room(this made us believe that this was a known problem to them). We... more
