Although I had no problems with Dr. Ingram, I have had countless problems with his office staff. On 2 occasions, my new lenses were not even ordered, though they should have been, until I called to see if they had come in yet. Very unprofessional. After visiting several other eye clinics in Columbia, I knew I had found my eye clinic when I walked in to Dr. Ingram's office. The office is clean, professional ,and friendly. I have been a patient for several years and I have always been very satisfied.
Easy to make an appointment. Felt taken care of and cared about. Had all my questions answered. Was in and out quickly and cannot wait for my new eyeglasses!

Benjamin D. Ingram, O.D. Dr. Ingram, originally from Summerville, S.C., graduated from the University of South Carolina in Columbia with a degree in Biology. After his undergraduate work, Dr. Ingram attended Nova Southeastern University's College of Optometry in Ft. Lauderdale, FL where he obtained his doctorate in optometry. While in optometry school, he earned clinical honors in the areas of Primary Care and Contact Lenses as an intern. While performing his externship at the VA Hospital in Salisbury, N.C., Dr. Ingram gained extensive knowledge in the treatment and management of ocular disease secondary to systemic diseases and earned clinical honors in this field as well.
