Dinner was excellent as always, especially the bibimbap, which is served in a hot stone bowl. They also have great sushi and udon noodle dishes.

I'm a sushi snob. I've had the best and I've had the worst. Inaka in Lawrence is somewhere in the middle. I had the sushi regular combo which was 18.95. In other places this would have been $3 cheaper. The rice was a bit dry, and the cuts of sushi looked like they were done in haste rather than skill....

The maki rolls at this Japanese restaurant are a bit slapdash, but the fish inside is bright and fresh. Cooked dishes are generally mild, but chili lovers might enjoy sang sun chigae, a piquant seafood stew. We loved the chicken yaki udon, a stir-fry of thick, chewy udon noodles, just-browned meat, and crisp-tender vegetables. Beer and wine served.
