If you let Chris know when you are hoping to get the vehicle back, he will let you know if he can accommodate or if the service will take longer.
You should plan to call to see if your vehicle is ready. That is just how he works. He doesn't call you to let you know it is finished. I think he assumes if you want your call you will call him.
He is an expert on VW/Audi cars.
If you want excellent service at very affordable rates, you should go to Import Autowerks.

Chris the mechanic is really a nice guy, but service at Import Autowerks really sucks. Left my car there on a Wednesday morning for a few things to be looked at. I heard nothing from the shop til I called on Friday and was told they had not got to it yet. I got a called on Tuesday and was given a $770 estimated that I agreed to. I was promised my car would be ready on Wednesday (1 week later) Chris forgot to order a part so my car would not be ready til Thursday. No one called me to tell me the car was ready. I call Friday morning and was told come pick it up. Not only was my car not ready...

Had my check engine light on in my 2006 VW. Importwerks checked it for free and diagnosed the problem quickly and made the repair within 24 hours. Labor rate is $60 which way cheaper than dealership…

Excellent quality auto repair at a reasonable price. I have been bringing my VW turbo beetle to them for almost three years now and am extremely happy with the service I receive..
