This eatery, part nightclub/bar, part diner, believes a Downtown revitalization is still possible, which is why the owners set up shop in a particularly grungy industrial part of the city. some friends and i used to attend '80's' night here on fridays. they never had a strict dress code until recently i guess. one of the managers were there as we were walking up to the door, and with the most cynical attitude she blurts out, oh my god, they look like bums! we went from regulars to not going back at all, i hate this place.

PROS: nice hystoric downtown location, thats about it.

When driving to the Icehouse we thought it was going to be a run down locals bar. We were in for quite a shock. This place is in a run down part of town, but when you walk in side you would never know it. They are a bit pricey, but they have good food. Its a place you would never go into if you didn't know what it was like inside.

PROS:
CONS: A little pricey
