Contemporary mainstream hotel. Just ask for the 'Rainbow Room Rate' to get the 'pride price' all year round.

This was our go to place when we first moved to K.C. While it usually set us back $100+ or so, the food and view were well worth it. I can only guess a change of chefs was the cause of a new and lower standard. We have tried it occasionally since but are still dissapointed. Do yourselves a favor and go for drinks and view only. The service is good too!

When friends come in to Kansas City for a convention or to visit, this is one of the places they like to stay. The hotel rooms are clean and well decorated - an upper class hotel. Close to Union Station and Crown Center - definitely recommend this hotel.
This hotel was very nice. The lobby is absolutely gorgeous and our hotel view from the 29th floor was awesome. We overlooked the pool and the downtown area. The only downfall to the hotel was the self-parking garage. It was a hassle going to our car back to the hotel...it was a long walk.
