In Short It's located at the Hyatt Regency on Town Lake, one of Austin's finest hotels. This second-floor atrium restaurant has a casual yet upscale vibe. It has a breakfast buffet in the morning and a full American and Mexican menu throughout the day and night. During good weather, many dine on the lakeside patio. It bills itself as the "Fajita Capital of Texas," so it's no surprise...

Lady Bird Lake reminds you of your crew days on the Charles. So you test the paddle boats docked in back. You go out on the water at dusk to see the bat colony going crazy under the bridge. Your quads are fried when you return. A saunter down South Congress is shot. No worries. Tony people are fraternizing in the face-lifted lobby lounge. And the view of the skyline from there is most expansive.
The Hyatt on town lake has great customer service and has the most beautiful views overlooking the city. The decor is very modern and stylish. The location is perfect, midway between the great shops on South Congress and the nightlife of downtown. I have been to Austin many times and this hotel is by far my favorite to stay at.

I love to stay here when I am in town on business. They have a great restarant downstairs and the staff always goes out of their way to accomdate your needs. I would recommned staying here.
The rooms have been updated and have more of a modern decor (as opposed to the previous Southwest theme) - which I liked. The rooms are pretty spacious and the location can't be beat. It's right next to the trail that takes you to Zilker Park, SoCo restaurants are within walking distance as are bars and such on 6th Street. My only complaint is that it took FOREVER for the water to heat up...
