We went to Hunter's after the Sunday article (08-08) promoting the business' reopening. They raved about the burgers, etc. DISAPPOINTING & HORRIBLE I can honestly say that was the WORST SERVICE we have ever experienced! The waitress was pleasant enough; however, she seemed very new to the business - almost like she had never waited tables before. There were approx. 20 people, so it's not like...

great job to the new owners ,manager, and the rest of the staff!! it is bright and very clean the food was excellent as well as the service. we can't wait to go back and the baked potato was not microwaved

They microwave their baked potatoes on the weekend???? Ever since new owner's took the place over it hasn't been as good.

The venerable Hunter's has a laid-back, tavern-type atmosphere that perfectly parallels the smooth live jazz that often emanates from its stage. In true pub style, its hamburgers are terrific – a work of art even. Expect to see a cross-generational crowd here, all of whom are interested in just having a good time with friends new and old.
