Hungry Cat

So popular

Review Rating
This seafood spot has become so popular that it's difficult to book a table there. They have excellent oysters and shrimp. It's a great place to eat after seeing something at the Arclight. they have a good brunch too.
Hungry Cat

just delectable

If you're a pesco-vegetarian (vegetarian that eats fish), this is the place for you. Wonderfully fresh oysters, really good seafood entrees and original, tasty drinks at the bar. The service was wonderful, and a date night here with my husband turned out great.

This Hollywood seafood bistro is a worthwhile destination in the maze of Sunset Vine. David Lentzthe former chef of Opaline and husband to A.O.C.s Suzanne Goinhas redefined minimalism. This cat is all brown and white, with cement floors, exposed air ducts, stark hard! furniture and a small bar. With so little sound absorption, the cacophany of blowing air, chatty diners and eclectic music... more

The Scene Matte black walls and a glass window stretch up to industrial ceiling fixtures, which lend a post-modern vertigo to this intimate space. The centerpiece is a stunning wood and zinc horseshoe bar that wraps around the kitchen and raw bar. Pre-theater and post-moviegoers of all ages have found this casual mall-enclosed spot perfect for a relaxed dinner, though the bar rocks a... more

Hungry cat, hungry cat, what are they feeding you...in this sparse, pipe and concrete baring, Borders-adjacent bistro? Typical of pet-obsessed Hollywood, this feline-inspired foodery purrs over mountains of half-shell oysters, Dungeness in blood orange butter, crab cakes from a century-old recipe and brioche lobster rolls. Trust the raw fish and cocktails. Incredible bacon-laced pug burger has... more

I went to Hungry Cat with my bf last night. We started off the evening with a tray of assorted oysters. SO GOOD! The flavor of the oysters was exactly what I expected and were served with a great vinegar and cocktail sauce. We were feeling a little adventurous and decided to give the sea urchin a try which turned out to be pretty good. For the price I thought there could have been a little... more
