Hungry Bear Drive-In

I was crunched for time on Friday and decided to swing by between items on my to do list. Had a mama bear with cheese hold the onion, an order of sweet potato fries with cinnamon sugar, and a coke. With my coupons for education coupon it came to just over $10. Good value and good eats.

Great burgers and fries and onion rings. Malt shakes are great too. Looking forward to a peanut butter shake now since I read other reviews! Been there since I moved here in 1983!???

I had very high expectations after viewing their website. They went on about their love of burgers and wanting to make the best burger ever. If you want to make the best burger, you start with fresh, never frozen, beef. Hungry Bear burger patties look and taste the same as a McBurger patty... While the patty was frozen, the toppings were fresh and delicious. The crinkle fries were served hot...

The owners and employees have to be saints to deal with the kids coming over from Osceola Middle School. Sitting waiting for my food & milkshakes, and they are dealing with four young boys that are demanding refills for their drinks. One even went as far as to pull a cup from the trash to demand his refill. Parents if you are letting your kids walk home.... I hope these aren’t your kids. Hungry...

Off the regular roads slightly and next to the train tracks, but let's just say my visit was mediocre. Nothing fancy about their burgers. To me it tasted like a Sonic burger and not very special....
