I called to book an appointment and was quoted $90 for a joint filing - after a long appointment with nothing out of the usual on my filling - I was given a total bill of over $250. My tax advisor just said the lady on the phone isn't competent and they can't give accurate quotes. Buyer beware - turbo tax was 1/2 the price last year and that's definitely what I'll be doing next year
