Me and my boyfriend met each other in Durham. I live in Richmond and he lives in Charlotte. I booked online. This place ended up being a dumb. The rooms were very dusty and moldy smell. Fine place to stay to shower and sleep.

I was really expecting a flea bag. What I found was a clean, nicely decorated lobby, and a clean room/bathroom. This place must have cleaned up its act. Its entrance is a little obscure and not well marked though. The owners need to have a modest, well-lit sign at their entrance off Hillendale. I've stayed in major chain low quality inns that charged as if they were, and this wasn't one of them.
