Howard Johnson Downtown/Opryland Area

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Everything was dated. We arrived and had to wait about 15 minutes on someone to get back to the office. There was a sign on the door that said "be back in 5 mins" yea....that didn't happen so we couldn't even check in. Got to the room and it was okay for the most part. Front desk area was just remodeled and it looked nice. The blueberry muffins were good. Stairs are only located only on the back side of the hotel, outside is very dirty, it is located in a very rough area of town and lots of loud noises (yelling, music) at night, there were bodily fluid stains on BOTH of our comforters, wads of dirt piled in the corners of the room. Would never go back!...

The staff should get credit because they work so hard. Also, for 65 dollars you get what you pay for. The hoel is the farthest thing from Nashville or opreyland. The rooms are dirty and most of the lights don't work.

Good price. Suited my need for a quick, comfortable 5-hour nap. TV was analog and very staticky. Pillows very lumpy. Sheets were good, but mattress itself was stained and dirty (had small hairs on it).
