Don't stay at HoJo's in Burlington

Neither A/C or heat worked. Carpet threadbear and water pressure was so low it was impossible to take a shower. Staff working under poor conditions. I would not recommend this establishment to anyone. I used to travel for a living and this may well be the worst place I have stayed.

The website shows these beautiful, quaint rooms. There are a few but still aren't what you see from the pictures on the website. The only thing that was pictured accurately was the pool and bar area. We were given a room on the outside that was the dirtiest room I can imagine. The carpet was so gross that I would not touch it with my bare feet. The bed and bedding were stained and torn and had...

At check in, the front desk lady was VERY rude. I'm from this town and was back for my moms funeral. Every time we walked in, we'd get funny looks from the employees of the hotel. We felt it was due to our race. Other front desk workers were very friendly. It was just the one and she gave serious attitude more times after that. If you don't like your job, then quit!!

The chair neither me nor my wife would sit in since there were visible stains on it. I also noticed some on the floor that looked like lipstick. Wallpaper was peeling off on almost every wall you looked at. The...
