Tied the the wonderful Savoy Grill, this hotel is a bit of Kansas City's past. Though not in the best neighborhood, still gives you a feeling of the roaring twenties.

Stayed there for our honeymoon. Went back for 1st anniversary. Loved the intimate accommodations - quiet, private. Especially nice made-to-order breakfast with great service. Only thing missing is the fresh-squeezed orange juice we enjoyed during our first visit. Baileys in the room a nice touch.

I called Savoy direct (5/2008) spoke to reservations explained I needed a handicapped room for a paraplegic. I was told they had one handicapped room. I made my reservations was put on hold while they moved around someone so I could have the room. My husband and I arrived and the first alarm that went off in my head was stairs!!!! I left my husband in the car went in to find the handicap...
