The bed was very comfortable. Convenient 5 block walk to the convention center. The outdoor pool and terrace area was nice. Fitness room was fine. Air conditioning is run off a central system so the way to regulate temperature is to open or close vent. Very noisy - thin walls between rooms; lots of sound from flushing toilets. Loved this hotel. Not as fancy as surrounding hotels but the location was amazing, hotel was clean and staff were so friendly, The gym was disappointing but I was only there for a weekend so no big deal. The pool area was really nice.

Great Location, but Little Else

Great location in downtown Phoenix for my needs. However, the walls were paper thin (I heard some one cough across the hall IN their room), and the water temperature was erratic in the shower. I understand that the hotel is historic, which is one of its great qualities, but historic doesn't mean it has to feel run-down.

Outdated. Took three tries to get them to get the bath tub to drain. Rooms are small and the bathroom is ridiculous. Don't waste your time. Too expensive for this old dump
