Stayed at the Hotel Monaco on February 22 and 23, 2016. I enjoyed it. The rooms were clean and the staff attentive. Two suggestions: They need more of a TV channel selection and their Honor Bar could be a little more forgiving (first $10 worth of food/drink could be free).

This is, without a doubt, our very favorite place to stay in Portland.
Hotel Monaco is fun, funky, and just feels wrapped in the great vibe that makes this city such a great place to visit.

The entire hotel is charming, beginning with the warm and inviting lobby with a roaring fire, comfy seating and evening cocktails and morning coffee and hot chocolate with all the trimmings. Rooms are the perfect size, bed great, all the amenities one could look for in a deluxe hotel.
