Hotel Indigo Lower East Side New York

Good location ok everything ese

The hotel is right in the heart of my favorite part of town, so that’s clearly a plus. However, there was water damage in our room under the windows, toe nails on the floor and some of the staff (not all, because some were very nice) was very unfriendly. Yes, I’d stay here again, only if the other two hotels I stay at in the area were booked.

A decent alternative to midtown chain blandness

I have usually stayed further up Manhattan than the Lower East Side so this more gritty side to New York was a change and I was glad I did. This hotel is not in one of the most preposessing glitzy streets in Manhattan but is typical LES. The entrance might be easy to miss. We stayed for 4 nights here Friday - Monday, got a bargain in the IHG sale. Amazing Hotel

The room was amazing and very spacious which was perfect for my boyfriend and I since he is wheelchair bound. Mr. Purple was off the chain and very popular from what we could see.
