I have stayed here several times while working in Chicago - I LOVE THIS HOTEL!!! It is my favorite in Chicago. It's not what I would consider a family friendly hotel as the rooms are small, but if you are by yourself, the rooms are delightful. I would use this also for a romantic getaway hotel - the decor is so original. Great location in Chicago too

The Allegro Hotel was the perfect spot to stay in the heart of theatre district in Chicago - able to walk to the Oriental Theatre to see Wicked! Close to trains, but all the shops around the hotel were closed on Sunday and Monday for Labor Day weekend. No restaurants or bars within walking distance.
