We went to the bakery this morning. The workers need to smile since they are very unfriendly. Wondered where the apples were in our apple fritters?

I am sorry that the first review was not a pleasant one. However, Hot Lava Baking Company now has new owners!!! Their food is great, as well as the service. Let's help support these new owners with our business. The first morning they opened, everything sold out! That says a lot for them.

Terrible donut, tasted like it was made with Bisquick. My latte was even worse, it tasted like microwaved milk. We purchased bread here the previous summer and was not impressed with that either. I've???

Nice staff, fresh pastries. Knocking off two stars for the heavy use of styrofoam which is unnecessary and never breaks down--switch to paper Hot Lava--compost! Keep Sunriver green, please!

Everything greasy and deep fried. Even the scones are deep fried. Quite a disappointment.
