The whole staff at the hospice house is absolutely amazing! The are the most caring people I have ever met. Very comforting.

It's a wonderful place. They take care of your sick family members when they are ready to go home, they also care for the family during their grieving time. Some wonderful people working there.

My Granny was at the Hospice House a little over a month ago. I cannot thank the staff enough for their attention to and compassion for her care while she was there. They were so accommodating to my entire family. My Granny was at peace during her last moments on this earth, and I am grateful for Hospice and the staff for making a difficult time in our lives a little bit easier. I highly...

My mom and her mom was both there when they were about to pass and the staff was so great to the family

Founded in 1982, Hospice of Huntington provides hospice care to patients in Cabell, Wayne, Mason and Lincoln counties in West Virginia and Lawrence County in Ohio. The center provides physical, emotional and spiritual care for terminally ill patients and their families. Located in Huntington, W.Va., it serves more than 200 patients each day in their homes, nursing homes and assisted living facilities. The center provides services to patients suffering from cancer, Parkinson's disease, strokes, multiple sclerosis, and heart, lung, kidney and liver diseases. It employs medical directors, nurses, certified nursing assistants, social workers, grief support counselors and patient care volunteers. The center s programs and services include specialized support, such as emotional guidance and support before and after the death of a patient.
