We've been coming here for years, a pretty park. Lots of picnic areas, some on the water, many in the woods. Two sandy lake beaches, clean reservoir swimming water, boat rentals with a variety of selections. Staff does a great job keeping the park maintained, but they always seem to be driving by and checking things out. That is good...

My kids and I loved to spend time at the small beach. Here you can find parking next to the perfect spot , between the beach and the picnic area.

We have been going to the park in the early afternoon. This last Sunday we went around 1:30pm and left around 2:45pm. As we were leaving, the entrance was blocked from allowing any new entrants, either by car or walking-in. There was a sign indicating that the park would reopen at 3:30pm. Quiet, clean and spacious barbecue location

The Hopkinton state park is an ideal barbecue location. There are many spots, with parking and many benches and grills.
Some of these are close to water as well.
With small beaches, they make ideal play area for kids and adults too.
