Help us make it rightHopkinton State Park
In Short
This park--an extremely popular warm water destination--is complete with a recreation field, bathhouse, boathouse, five boat launch ramps and a dozen small parking areas. The...
We've been coming here for years, a pretty park. Lots of picnic areas, some on the water, many in the woods. Two sandy lake beaches, clean reservoir swimming water, boat rentals with a variety of selections. Staff does a great job keeping the park maintained, but they always seem to be driving by and checking things out. That is good...
My kids and I loved to spend time at the small beach. Here you can find parking next to the perfect spot , between the beach and the picnic area.
Last Saturday we headed over there to relax and get the kids wet but we had to loop around. The parking was being detoured very far away from the beach...

The park is open all year but fees are...
Hopkinton Reservoir holds court amid the more than 1,400 acres of this easily accessible state park. The grounds are open year-round to various recreational activities, notably featuring ten miles of marked trails that can be shared by hikers, joggers, cyclists and even horseback riders. If there's enough snow (four inches), then bring along the snowmobile. Picnic areas, beaches and seasonal...
In addition to hiking, fishing, canoeing and swimming, activities include horseback riding, cross-country skiing and snowmobiling.
Like most parks with water-based recreation, this park is heavily used in warm weather and parking can be hard to come by.
