I got Nishiki rice from this market but when I cooked, tasted so awful and disappointed.
This rice is SUPPOSEDLY new crop and premium.
Needless to say, I was being fooled by reading what is written on bags!
Be careful when you buy rice from this market because there are still so many bags of Nishiki rice are waiting for customers to buy.
Unless this market discontinue selling bad Nishiki...

I got Nishiki rice from this market but so disappointed.
This rice is SUPPOSEDLY new crop and premium.
Guess what?
Taste like eating plastic and awful!
Each grain doesn't stick together and so dried up.
When I was cooking, did not boil starchy water like good Japanese rice does.
Believe me, I am eating rice all my life (over 60 years) and I know how good decent rice taste.
That was waste of my $$$$ by purchasing rice from this store.
I am sure many other people are upset about poor quality of Nishiki rice they sell.
Unfortunately I got old rice or bad rice and fooled by what bag...
