Help us make it rightI really enjoy this place. We just returned and they had Christmas lights throughout the park. I have no negatives about this park.
Usually I don't like zoos that much but this Wildlife State Park is different. Loved the manatees, the underwater observatory, Lu - whose full name is Lucifer - and Yuma (who is not a puma) who gave us an extra show!
Really dedicated volunteers and staff - you're doing a great job guys!
Not worth the time or money. We went to investigate in advance of taking our grandchildren and all I can say is I was glad we only spent the cost of 2 admissions, as the place was a complete waste of time.

Enjoyed walking through the park and the boat ride from the parking lot to the park. Saw so many amazing birds. Nice peaceful change from amusement parks. Disappointed that we only saw the resident manatees. Not their fault. Weather unusually hot for this time of year and wild manatees not heading to warmer waters yetis they normally do this time...
What a fun place! Starting with a 20 minute ride on a pontoon boat, there are wonderful views of wildlife. The preserve is a very easy walk, not extremely far, and it is an accessible path.
