This property made its home in the former headquarters of the San Antonio Drug Company overlooking the River Walk. Rather than destroying the existing building and constructing a new one, the hotel undertook massive renovations but yet preserved the building's charm, thus earning raves from the local conservationists.

Stayed over the Labor day weekend. Great price,friendly staff. Rooms were very clean and roomy. Free breakfast and afternoon food and drinks were very good.The best part of the hotel is large room overlooking Riverwalk where the food and drinks are served. Visited 5-02. Very friendly and helpful staff. Had a leak from adjoining room ice maker which required major repair to carpet which was done very promptly and professionally. Was given a generous adjustment on room rate for slight inconvenience. Great room, I'll be back if possible.
