Excellent stay, great staff, room needs remodeling
I never made it to my room. They had a piece of artwork (although it could have been a cabinet) hanging on the wall with a large swastika on it, directly to the right of the counter where you register. I never made it to my room, as I called Hotels'com and got a refund. Obviously, I'd rather not give my business to proprietors who hang symbols like this at their establishment.
The hotel looked like a downgrade from the picture. Even though the room was clean, I did not feel clean sleeping here. NEVER AGAIN. Next time I will fork over the extra money. The bathroom door was repaired from being bashed in, the carpet was heavily stained, and the overall room was outdated and unappealing. There are security cameras all over the lot, which was nice. the hotel appears to be halfway through a renovation - they still need to do some minor repairs on the interior, but the room was very clean and comfortable. Once I shut the door, there was very little noise coming from outside and none from the other rooms.
