Miners from neighboring towns discovered the warm waters of the Homestead Crater and fell in love with the...

Editorial reviews from the web (2)

Park City silver miners once soaked in the hot springs of this resort, which has been in operation since 1886. Garden walkways lead between cottages and the main building of the sprawling country retreat with a steamy, natural crater at its center. Rooms and common areas are decorated in traditional style, with period furnishings.

Over 100 years ago, this resort's mineral hot springs crater was its main attraction. Now, championship golf, tennis, horseback riding and 12,000 square-feet of flexible conference space complement this natural wonder. You can enjoy the…

We had dinner at Simon's and the pot roast my wife had was delicious and tender. I sampled some of hers and it was tasty. I was not very hungry so I had the burger. It was good but not impressive. The fries served with the burger were not very good though. Most fast food places have better fries.
