Hoegemeyer pronounced Ho-guh-my-er came about when considering names for our barbeque barn in Corpus Christi for two reasons: weve got strong German heritage & a need for something unique (oh yeah, and extremely difficult to spell.). Of course, Opas is already taken so we decided to use the surname of our sweet aunt and uncle who now reside in Fredericksburg, Texas. Hoegemeyers opened its doors...
