Love this place. The most tame gay bar I've ever been in, but just a wonderful bar all around. Great 30's showtune-y music, good bar-food menu, good service, clean restrooms, plenty of space and two pool lables.

good drinks, relaxed atmosphere, comfy chairs, slow jazzy lounge music - excellent place to hang out for a few drinks.

We didn't try the food but the "lounge menu" looked like standard bar-food fare. The "dinner menu" is American dinner fare - well matching the decor. :-)

Well-mixed, convivial crowd trends toward professional thirty-somethings, and away from the dirty disco gangbang element that plagues the PDX circuit. Casually posh, with long bar, piano and jazz trios, and game room in back. $2.00 well, $3.00 calls 4-7. - $2.00 well, $3.00 calls 4-7 - $2.00 well, $3.00 calls 4-7 - $2.00 well, $3.00 calls 4-7 - $2.00 well, $3.00 calls 4-7 - $2.00... more

This may be a politically incorrect title but entriely true. A group of us went here for Valentine's Day dinner. Needless to say there was very little about the dinner experience that inspired love. Our server was less than attentive in a half full resturaunt and we waited quite some time between drink orders and food ordering and the end of the meal for our bill. When the food finally came... more

First they charge 17% gradutity on crapy service on 5 people even when the place is empty. Too many fo the waitstaff standing around the bar just laughting and talking when they should be doing their job. My meal took additional 30 mins after everyone was served. An yea the waiter never came back to the table so we could complain. The food is over priced for the greasy so I guess part of the... more

Ya, it's a civilized place to drink and shmooze in Old Town. Great space and decor. We've eaten there many times though, and it's really not worth it. Dining room is pretentious, so are the wait staff. The bar menu would appear to be decent, but the food quality is sub-par. Go for drinks, piano bar; it's a great place, just don't count on the food.
