I've no complaints about the quality of care my recently deceased father received. It is that Final Phone Call to which I strongly object. When my father passed away, a Hillcrest Commons staff member did not contact me or any other immediate family member. Instead (s)he notified the person who held the titles of power of attorney and health care proxy. Both of these functions ceased to exist...
