Me and my friend planned a vacation to Chicago on a 6 seater vehicle. We personally went to this place 4 weeks in advance and were promised a 6 seater ( I specified to the guy in no uncertain terms that we need a "6" seater, not more not less).
The day before we were to leave, I got a call, from the same guy who promised to get us the car, with "bad news"- No vehicle available!!!
We went there again, only to be told sorry and this was the first time.. blah blah blah and he could set us up with 2 small cars!
We refused.Now what do we do with the gas bills, parking tickets, on road confusion with one car backing up the other? We'd pay double! Who'd pay for all those expenses? Hertz? Nope! Then the guy comes up with a bright idea - they have a customer coming in at 11:00Pm in the evening and if he comes ontime, we get the car on Saturday ( when we leave for our 3 day trip to Chicago from here). Now this was going nowhere! We called up Budget and got a better deal through Priceline. God bless Hertz local Edition!
