You can get better food, you can easily get better service...But you can't get anything quite so REAL as the Hermatige Cafe. The Hermitage doesn't feel like it's TRYING to be something, it just is. The food is cheap and tasty, the waitstaff is...interesting, and it reminds me of the all-night luncheonettes back home that served the dock workers 30 years ago.
