What the community has to say about Heritage Square

Information about this business (1)

This park is a throwback to the days when theme parks were more than corporate carnivals seeking to build the biggest roller coaster. It is set in the guise of an old Victorian town and provides old-fashioned fun for the whole family. Rides abound, including the merry-go-round and alpine slide. Numerous shops carry everything from candy to souvenirs. The acclaimed Music Hall offers a variety of...

Editorial reviews from the web (2)

A colorful re-creation of an 1880s frontier town, Heritage Square has a music hall, a rip slide, an alpine slide, and some specialty shops. A vaudeville-style review ends each evening's entertainment.

Denver's closest mountain fun park has something for everyone.

yesteryear once more

Aside from taking kids there in summer time for an yesteryear's experience in an old fashioned amuzment park, I also really enjoy a leisure walk when the park itself is closed off season. It is all by itself a fascinating place, a time piece calls for memories.

Great Historic place to explore

Very neat place but too bad most of the businesses are closed. Use to come here as a kid when the place was bustling with people

Be sure to check to see what is open before heading to Heritage Square. There may be some entertainment facilities open, and maybe the summer slide.

My sister's first job was at Heritage Square when she was in high school. She loved it.
Our favorite thing to do was the Haunted house. That is so AWESOME! It is better than Elitches for the money and fun. No long lines and food and shops are great. Itz Denver's best kept secret. Dont forget to do the Alpine...

This attaction is reasonably priced but I wish they had a deal if you bought more than one slide. It is closing at the end of their 2015 season...too bad!!! :(

Business description (3)

Heritage Square is home to many of Golden's most frequented attractions, including the Heritage Rio Golden Train, the Music Hall Dinner Theater and the Fish'n Farm Fun Center. While many of the rides are open seasonally (from April through October), the shops and theaters welcome guests throughout the year.

Heritage Square is the place to go to combine family fun and thrills. Host to an alpine slide, a kiddy-land amusement park, and bungee jumping, it delivers something for the adventurous spirit in everyone. After you've exhausted yourself on the rides and activities, ease your weariness as you go back in time at Notz Landing, a '50s-style diner. Individual attractions are priced separately.
