I walked in and thought I was in heaven. I own tons of design books and they had such a variety, I easily spent the afternoon there. If I could, I would go every week. The vast amount of art, architecture, design oriented books is just mind boggling. They also have a nice selection of cards and sketchbooks. The staff is very friendly. I love, love, love this place. For anyone visual, they have the best selection of books and magazines on all art subjects including architecture, photography, design, landscape design...stuff you can't see anywhere else. A must browse!

This one of a dying breed, a REAL book seller with a specialization in art, architecture, photography and art biography. This store moved from the 3rd street Promenade a few years ago into ritzier digs on Wilshire Blvd. about three blocks from the ocean palisades. I know of no other store that can compete with their variety, quality or service.
