My husband and I had a wonderful experience at the Hazard Grille, from the moment we entered the restaurant. The hostess was friendly, and the restaurant was fairly busy. This was a great place and will be missed. The food was good, the service was good, the music was good, the atmosphere was good and you would always run into friends there. I guess everything comes to an end but I do hope that John and Rod open another place and we all find ourr way there.

Good traditional American food

Have been here three times now for work. Have found the food to be excellent, the atmosphere a little old and dark, and the service twice excellent and once awful (took my friend twenty minutes to find someone to pay his bill). Chowder and crab cakes were both excellent.

Hazard Grille was one of the small handful of quality restaurants in Enfield that didn't belong to a chain. It closed its doors this week. Hope something just as good replaces it!

Terrible food, greasy

I recently took my son and grandson to this restaurant. The food was substandard, greasy. The chicken tenders were nothing but hunks of cold premade chick smothered with sauce. Hard to eat.
The italian dish wash grease. There was a charge for each glass of soda, seltzer. I consider it a wast of over $100.
Not recommended at all.

Hazard Grille is located on Hazard Avenue in Enfield. Hazard Grille is a casual upscale bar and restaurant with room for up to 250 patrons. Hazard Grille specializes in Americana specialties such as fish and chips, and also has space to accommodate larger banquets. There is an extensive wine and scotch list and plenty of signature dishes to choose from.
