After 2.5 years shopping there, I inquired about a bad load of bermuda I had gotten (not the first bad one, but the first time I asked). I was told to "Ask God". Absolute failure in customer service, and the last time I will spend my $$ at Hawthorne.

I live in the area and pass by this store often. When I have time, I love to go in and roam around. It is always changing, but still has that down-home country feel. It is a great place to buy home canning supplies. Prices are good and they have a great variety of products. They have very fun Christmas ornaments if you have a country-style home. And don't forget the animals out back. My grand kids love to go with me!

Homey store with helpful, friendly staff. Huge variety of goods for all disciplines. Great prices on canning materials. Let's not forget the "zoo" out back ready for your barn.

This country store visit turned into a learning experience for my children. They have great farm animals in the back of the store. There is an old-fashioned ice cream store which was very clean and had great service.
