Hawk's Nest

Skimpy. Ordered an oyster sandwich at $7, had 4 small oysters under my bread. Bowl of gumbo is flavorful with good spice and dark roux, but expensive at about $9. Simply overpriced for what is essentially a lunch spot for local offices.

LAME. Went at 5 o clock for dinner come to find out after we ordered our drinks, that all they had was a pathetic partial menu between 2-6pm ....Look if you are going to be open be open for business not partial business. Had to pack up and leave to find somewhere who is actually fully open for dinner when the doors are open. and also was asked by the waiter to pay for the tea we ordered even...

Last evening we went to this establishment. We had shrimp remoulade, a little spicy and very flavorful. A fantastic bacon cheese burger, Homemade potato chips and curley fries. Coldest beer you will find and frindly service. A great evening a very reasonable price.

This is a great place especially for lunch. Quick and good menu. I think it's always been know for great shrimp roumelade and seafood. But that's not all that's good.
