I live in Center City, and was *really* hoping to find a good coffee shop now that Capriccio is no longer in business. I tried this place, and frankly, it is just terrible. Excellent coffee. I like having a proper size for capuccino, where you can still taste the espresso. They have good breakfast pastries, and good sandwiches for lunch too!

Excellent espresso. V good roast well prepared preheated cups and real spoons. A few months ago the espresso was sometimes a bit too long (but most of the time excellent), but these days it is consistently the exact right amount.
You can also get a real capuccino here, in the relatively small cups, not a huge bathtub of milk.
Sandwiches are good. Wish they brought back the panettone/colomba.... more
