Its noise-dampening acoustics and maze of underground nooks combine to make Harry's Steak—the fine-dining half of the restaurant (Harry's Café is more casual, but the menu is the same)—one of the city's most intimate steak houses. Settle in to one of the leather booths and start with a classic shrimp cocktail or the tomato trio, starring thick beefsteak slices topped with bacon and blue cheese,...

Harry's Cafe & Steak Restaurant Review

There's plenty of dark wood at this steak haven, lending a masculine old-world air to the atmosphere. A leather-bound wine list presents selections that lean toward big reds with prices that indicate expense accounts are welcome. Splurge on one of the Cabernets from a year that you barely remember. Starting with an iceberg wedge would be prudent, but the lobster-stuffed mushrooms are steaming...

A downtown favorite returns, with two restaurants at the ready for bull and bear sessions.

In Short
A once-musty Wall Street favorite comes back after a three-year hiatus. Though the old patina may be gone, it re-emerges with new polish--and as two restaurants in one. Enter on...

Very good as usual. And for those who know it from way back when, both the atmosphere and the food are better today -- better in quality and better suited to present times. Waiting for the return of the Kobe beef burger, not on the menu at this visit.

We had a great birthday dinner at Harry's. The food was absolutely delicious and service was excellent.

Great spot for post-work drinks and upscale bar food. Martinis are strong, popcorn is free and if you decide to eat dinner, the burgers and steaks are cooked perfectly. Lively crowds in the bar area during happy hour, and a spacious dining room for more sedate meals.
